My name is Yefim Shestik
Profession: architect and fine art artist.
Residence: Israel.
I was born in year 1954 in U.S.S.R town
Chernovizy which located in Ukraine.
In1973 I have immigrated to Israel.
My art education started from 1979 till 1981
where I have started learning graphics in college in Haifa,
and I have continued my art education in visual art school in
Beer-Sheva for additional three year, which I successfully
graduated in 1985.
During my art education I am participated in different art exhibitions in
Beer-Sheba and in some others towns in Israel.
One of the most significant my artworks, during this period of time,
was Performance (3-D dimantion art work in which the audience participates, going in my artwork,
and leaving their traces Artwork,
named " A chess against war based on Shakespeare's Statement “ All world - a stage,
all people - players ”.
This artwork has been created in different art techniques and medium ,
I have draw on a nylon floor(49 square meters)
false three angle perspective (black and white chess cells which come
to an end in an opposite black wall in the beginning silhouette's foots.
Silhouette cares the wounded in a had chess soldier,expressing the pity .
On the left corner two chess armies (ceramics about 50 cm tall)
in black color are standing in black area facing each other, are ready to start the war.
In the left corner I have disposed broken and smashed chess peaces to express the result of war. .,

My sculpture concept is developed in a clay and beewax sculpture.
When he is satisfied with the design, the model is reproduced in wax and
sent to a bronze foundry where a ceramic mold is made and the sculpture is
translated into bronze through the lost wax casting method.
Each original piece or Limited Edition is cast and finished in a labor-intensive process,
mostly by me and ending with the application of special patinas .
From year 1987 I am participating in different art exhibition's in Israel and
working as an art teacher in schools and clubs.
In 2005 I have graduated from Brauda college and received diploma an architect.
Currently I am working on my new exhibition.
In my gallery I am introducing some of my works,sculptures, paintings and drawings.
