Yvonne West is an award winning artist living in the Hawkesbury River region northwest of Sydney, Australia. She has recently travelled to Italy and her work from that trip will soon be displayed here. Yvonne's formal training began in the mid 80's taking tuition in tonal oil painting with well known artist Judy Brownlie.  She has mastered techniques in Pastel, Acrylics, Mixed Media and Watercolour with help from various tutors such as Margaret Wills, Robert Wade, and Patrick Carroll.  Yvonne has been acclaimed for her Mixed Media and Abstract works.
Yvonne has been the recipient of many awards for her artwork and she is represented in public and private collections in Australia, Great Britain and the USA. Yvonne has held official positions in the Macquarie Towns Art Society and on the Executive of the Combined Art Societies of Sydney (CASS).
