Tarcsay Béla 1952-ben született Nagykanizsán. 2000 óta Szegeden él.
1994 óta képzőművészettel foglalkozik. Festményein a természet szeretetét kívánja megmutatni.
Képzőművészeti ismereteit autodidakta módon szerezte. Az olajfestmények mellett grafikai és pasztelltechnikai kísérleteket tesz.
Szegeden élve a világ inkább megnyílt előtte. Rajztanfolyamokat végzett. Ott Pataki Ferenc vezetésével dolgozott,
aki a karakterek rajzolása és az arányok megtartása felé vezetett. És ott megtudta, hogy a grafika közelebb áll hozzá, mint a festmény.
Érdeklődni kezdtek a pasztell- és tusrajzok iránt.
Tarcsay Béla önmagát formálta és stílusát továbbra is kitartó munkával és művészi alázattal formálja.

Béla Tarcsay was born in Nagykanizsa, Hungary in 1952. He lives in Szeged since 2000.
He is dealing with fine arts since 1994. He intends to show in his paintings his love of nature.
He got his knowledge in fine arts in a self-educated manner. Beside oil paintings he makes attempts at graphics and pastel technique.
Living in Szeged the world has more been opened before him. He followed drawing courses.
There he worked under the guidance of Ferenc Pataki, who guided him towards the importance of drawing characters and keeping the proportions.
And there he found out that the graphics is more close to him than the painting.
He began to be interested in pastel and ink-drawings.
Béla Tarcsay has formed himself and is still forming his style with a persistent work and artistic humbleness.
