지나가버린 수많은 순간은 지금 내가 여기에서 꺼내 보지 않는다면 누구의 기억에도 없고 기억할 수도 없는 어떤 것입니다.
지금 이 순간 순간 지나가는 장면이나 생각들도 일부는 내 기억의 저장고 어딘가에 저장되면서도 다른 일부는 형체도 없이 사라져 갈 것입니다.
우리는 언제나 현재를 살아가고 있습니다.
어느 날 어떤 계기에 의해 기억의 장면을 떠올리는 것은 현재와 과거를 동시에 살고 있기도 하는 삶의 일면을 내비치는 것이기도 합니다.
그것이 가능한 것은 보이지 않는 기억들이 나의 곳곳에 세포들로 누적되고 망처럼 조직되어 지금의 나를 뒷받침하고 있기 때문입니다.
기억해 보려고 노력해도 보이지 않거나 어느 날 갑자기 문득 한 조각이 떠오르기도 하는 유령 같은 기억세포들이 있기 때문입니다.
저의 작품들은 그러한 생각들이 엮어진 형상을 취하고 있습니다.

The countless moments that have passed are something that no one can remember or cannot remember unless I take it out of here.
Some of the scenes and thoughts that pass by at this moment will be stored somewhere in my memory,
while others will disappear without shape. We are always living the present.
Recalling a scene of memory by an occasion one day is also a reflection of one aspect of life, living both now and in the past.
It is possible because invisible memories accumulate in cells all over me and are organized like
a network to support me now. It's because there are ghost-like memory cells that seem invisible even if you try to remember
or suddenly come across a piece suddenly. My works take the form of such thoughts.
