My abstract artwork is a kind of genesis, a beginning of a mysterious wonderful world;
this approach can take you into a wide space of imagination when you look at the work,
it is a journey to the beginning of a creation; you can use your own fantasy world to understand the importance of the work. Using the right tools,
the right materials with the right choice of colours, and finding the right moment of inspiration, and also evoking my multicultural background,
are together condusive to a well-made concept and a good result, it is simply about being creative! What drives me is the determination to continue researching
and experimenting with different techniques and eclectic subjective ideas to develop my artwork, and create more and more of a unique and beautiful art.
That's the goal! Drawing has been my talent and hobby since primary childhood,
at the age of fifteen I started painting using watercolor "Aquarelle" and "Chinese ink",
I was lucky and grateful to have a private teacher, a great academic artist "Al-Azhar",
I learned a lot from him. My first participation with an oil painting in a group exhibition was at age of eighteen in 1983.
I won in two occasions the prize for best artwork in 1981 and 1984. In 1988 I left Morocco for Sweden in order
to join the school of Fine Arts in Gothenburg (but it was impossible att that time,
due to several reasons, the most important reason was that I've got married and I had to move to my wife's home town far away from Gothenburg.
Unfortunately There was no Academy of Fine Arts at that town, but there was an university of science,
I joined the Department of "Design ingineer program" in the University of Skövde,
it is the science of technology in product development and design,
something to do with draw and innovation in scientific and standard calculations in precise engineering's study,
It has not a direct relation to the fine arts, but they are still brought together by the most important rules of plastic art, "Drawing, Creativity and Beauty".
Despite all that I still consider my self an “autodidact” artist, who taught himself through the research
in different techniques learning more about art and the history of the big masters and their various schools.
I developed my artistic creativity with new methods and techniques that characterize my work and encourage me to present a good art.
The best thing happened to me in my artistic life is when I have been awarded in a contest in England for "Best Arab Abstract Artist in the World,
London 2021" this latter will motivate me to give the best art in the abstract world. Zaweah
