I'm a multidiciplinery Visual Artist/Academician/Art Activist involved with my aesthetic journey since last three decades.......

STATEMENT

The Painting as an aesthetic object should be the feast for the eyes.
All through my life I am fascinated by the nature God has created, especially by my surroundings.
All these inspirations urged me to paint. I formed my own personal way of looking at the trees, the sky, the lakes,
the meadows, the mountains of my countryside. Truly speaking I have been greatly inspired by the 17^th century Dutch masters,
like them I want to paint the nature as actually I see it. But I would definitely like to go beyond.
I am trying to capture different moods of the nature in my own style.
Besides this I am primarily concerned with the nature in which I live and commune.
The present global crisis of the environmental degradation pains me lot.
And I paint this pain, trauma, turbulence and devastation of my habitat.
I paint the things which have been affected by the concrete civilization and about which nobody cares.
I endeavor to create the effect of the light and the atmosphere as it is the most important part of my work,
which adds a kind of magic to my paintings. When I paint naturescapes,
the elements of nature are not the centre of interest for me, as may be expected.
Instead, I paint a glowing atmosphere as a way of arousing one’s curiosity and luring one closer for a longer look &b deeper introspection.
The blurred forms and intense colors that I project should represent the various shades of meaning
or rather change the meaning as per the viewers’ imagination.
Viewers’ should feel the pulse of nature through my paintings----that, indeed, is my target
