Claudio Goldini (1942), Plastic Artist and Medicine Doctor lives in Buenos Aires, he has an outstanding career in expressionism in Argentina. Raúl Santana, former director of the Museum of Modern Art of Buenos Aires, said from Goldini´s paints in 1995: "...Undoubtedly expressionist, his work renders visions that are the result of powerful subjectivity. It comments on some aspects of contemporary life, turning the human body into a landscape, adequate for expressing mysterious traces and emblems, which are rejected by the world of reason..."
Apart from many exhibitions in Argentina like those in Museum of Modern Art of Buenos Aires (1996) and Recoleta Cultural Center in Buenos Aires (1999),also made exhibitions in San Francisco, USA (1991); Pittsburgh, invited by the University and the Mendelson Gallery (1995); Orvieto, Italy (1998); Argentina House, Argentina Embassy, Roma, Italy (1998); La Habana, Cuba (1999, 2000); Rome, Italy (2000); International Accademy of Modern Art, Rome, Italy (2002) Some of his paintings belong to private collections from Argentina, U.S.A., Italy, Spain, England, and France, as well as prestigious institutions such as University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and Safar Institute, Pittsburgh, U.S.A. and Argentina House, Argentine Embassy, Roma, Italy. Won several prizes. Among others, in 1998 he was given the 1st prize on the "First Contest of Painting in Argentina La Casella" from Italy with his paint "4 Jinetes". In May 2002, he was finalist in the category "painting" of the International Awards of Culture Medusa Aurea organized by the International Accademy of Modern Art of Rome, Italy, prize Giacomo Manzu. The painting selected, "Visión" was awarded with the 5th. prize. In September 2002 he was awarded with the 3rd prize in the Sprint Painting Contest organized by the Margulies Foundation, Buenos Aires with the painting "Y El Alma Se Va del Hoyo" He was member of jurors in some painting contests, lately in "Mujeres 2001" Programa de Exposición y Capacitación de las Artes, organized by the Banco Ciudad de Buenos Aires, Argentina. In 2001-2003, Goldini was the organizer and member of juror of the First and Second Latin American and Caribbean Exhibition of Medical Painters, November, Recoleta Cultural Center, Buenos Aires, Argentina, sponsored by the Secretary of Culture, Buenos Aires Government. In June 2004 exhibited his artwork at Temple Ball Gallery, North Carolina, USA In December 2004- January 2005 exhibited his artwork: monotypes, drawings and paintings named "Metamorfosis" tribute to Kafka at Recoleta Cultural Center, Secretary of Culture, Buenos Aires Government. Apart from continuing his activities as a doctor and painter, in Mach 2006, he launched a blog regarding the Confessions of a Serial Killer Asesino Serial de Buenos Aires and in October another one regarding Art, Medicine and some tales.
