Leading digital painter Joseph Dea is a graduate of the Hartford Art School. Dea has created poster art for the New York Ballet and Discovery-Channel-Films. His video art has exhibited at the prestigious Kitchen Gallery, the Whitney Museum, and one of his pieces, Two Triple Cheese, is included in the NY-Metropolitan-Museum-of-Modern-Art permanent video collection. As an early pioneer of music video, he conceptualized, designed and directed more than thirty videos, five of these are included in Rolling Stone Magazine's All-Time Top 100 Videos. Dea has also directed hundreds of hours of television and won four Emmys.Fueled by his passion for painting and art, Joseph combines his cinematic technique and computer design expertise to create captivating life like digitally hand painted portraits on studio canvas.In 2008 he designed the poster art for Werner Herzog's Oscar nominated Encounters at the End of the World.Dea recently exhibited at the Los Angeles Center for Digital Art
