Szűcs Rita Egerben él és alkot, a gimnáziumi időszaktól 24 éves koráig a judóé volt minden, miután felvették a főiskolára döntött mi lesz a főirány.
Győztek a színek. Rajz-vizuális kommunikáció szakon végzett a EKTF-en.
Tanárként dolgozik, rajz-és fejlesztőórákat tart, de a sport sem maradt ki életéből.
„Sok alkotói megújjuláson vagyok túl, mindig keresgéltem és mindig fedeztem fel új dolgokat.
Évenként kisebb kiállítások szereplői voltak munkáim, öt-hat évenként nagyobb, ütősebb kiállítási anyagot tettem le az asztalra, illetve a kiállítói térbe.
Keresgélek, szeretek új dolgokat felfedezni, kísérletezni. Nem csak a témák, hanem anyagiság eszközhasználat terén is.
Megmozgatnak a síkból kiemelkedő anyagok, tárgyak, de eközben szeretek a múltba is visszatekinteni,
a népművészet terén, annak motívumait felhasználva beépíteni a modern festészetbe, illetve napjaink ízlésvilágába.
Rita portrékat fest akrillal, mert a portré izgalmas és mindig más.
„Ha csak az érzelmi részét nézzük, életem része az alkotás. Bármilyen jellegű megnyugtat, kikapcsol, örömforrás egyben, és egyfajta sikerélményt ad.
Aki rászokott az ízére azután soha nem adja fel. Ez egy életvitel, egy életritmus, ami nem apad ki, mindig új ötletek születnek, új kihívások jelennek meg,
amit mindenáron teljesíteni kell, mert ha csak gondolat marad, az már fáj. Ha a kezem bizsereg, a gondolataim már máshol járnak,
s ha más nem, de ceruza mindig akad. Na és a pozitív gondolkodás.
Mindenben az alkotás lehetőségét keresem, és ki is használom.”

Rita Szűcs lives and works in Eger, from high school period to the age of 24, everything belonged to judo,
after she was admitted to college she decided what the main direction would be.
The colors won. She graduated in drawing-visual communication. She works as a teacher, holding drawing and development classes,
but the sport was not left out of her life either.
“I’m past a lot of creative renewal, I’ve always searched and always discovered new things.
My works were the participants of smaller exhibitions every year,
every five or six years I put bigger, more percussive exhibition material on the table and in the exhibition space.
I search, I like to discover new things, to experiment. Not only in terms of topics, but also in terms of materiality in the use of tools.
They are moved by materials and objects that stand out from the plane, but in the meantime I also like to look back to the past,
in the field of folk art, using its motifs to incorporate it into modern painting and the world of taste today.
Rita paints portraits with acrylic because the portrait is exciting and always different.
“If we look only at the emotional part, creation is a part of my life. It calms, turns off, is a source of joy at the same time, and gives a sense of success.
Anyone who used to taste then never gives up. It is a way of life, a rhythm of life that does not fade, new ideas are always born,
new challenges appear, which must be fulfilled at all costs, because if only a thought remains, it already hurts.
If my hand is tingling, my thoughts are already elsewhere, and if nothing else, there is always a pencil. And positive thinking.
I look for the opportunity to create in everything, and I take advantage of it. ”
